The Chairman of the General Election Commission (KPU) Husni Kamil Manik stated that the first-ever simultaneous regional elections during the first period of 2015, which will be held on December 9, will be the most extensive regional elections ever held in Indonesia. While the regional elections are not yet entirely synchronized, the estimated count in the Potential Voter Population Data (DP4) is the most numerous in Indonesia’s regional elections.
