The thing I like most about mushroom soup is its creamy texture. There’s nothing like a nice warm bowl that will heat you up during those cold winter periods. Ingredients:
500g (1lb mushrooms)
1 garlic clove
2 chopped onions
90g (3oz) butter
Two tablespoons of flour
1 litre (1 and a half pints) chicken stock
One half a cup cream
One bay leaf
1 sprig of thyme

Step one: Wash the mushrooms of yours and slice them up (they don’t need to be pretty!)
